About the Eskom Hospitality Learnership

The Eskom Hospitality Learnership provides hands-on training within a professional kitchen and hospitality environment. Learners will work closely with the Executive Chef, supporting the daily operational and administrative activities of the hospitality department.

Participants will gain real-world exposure to food preparation, customer service, stock management, and health and safety compliance, making this programme ideal for hospitality graduates seeking industry experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Learners enrolled in the programme will be trained in both operational and leadership aspects of hospitality management, including:

Preparing and producing food
Managing and controlling stock levels
Providing administrative support within the hospitality department
Delivering high-quality customer service
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Assisting with the implementation of ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) requirements

Minimum Requirements

A National Diploma or National N Diploma in:
- Catering Management
- Hospitality and Catering Services
- Hotel School qualification
- Qualification must be at NQF Level 6 with a minimum of 240 credits
No previous work experience required
