The Unilever Automated Packaging Learnership provides in-depth workplace training that enables learners to:

Key Responsibilities
As part of the Automated Packaging Learnership, learners will be expected to:
- Perform general production line operations and cleaning duties according to operational plans
- Conduct pre-start-up inspections to ensure equipment cleanliness, safety, and SOP compliance
- Monitor product and packaging quality, reporting defects or deviations immediately
- Identify process abnormalities and take corrective action to prevent production disruptions
- Clean and maintain machinery in line with manufacturer guidelines and site specifications
- Prepare, inspect, and handle raw materials for production
- Ensure personal and team safety at all times on the production line
- Contribute to eco-efficient and sustainable manufacturing practices
- Complete all learnership requirements, including assessments, logbooks, and assignments
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
To qualify for the Unilever Learnership 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A National Senior Certificate (Matric) with passes in Mathematics and Physical Science, OR
- An N2, N3, or N4 Engineering qualification
