Programme Overview
The The Foschini Group (TFG) is offering the Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme 2026, a valuable opportunity for unemployed South African youth to gain practical workplace experience in the retail industry.
The YES Programme is a business-led initiative supported by the South African government aimed at addressing youth unemployment. Through this programme, young people can develop essential workplace skills, build professional experience, and improve their chances of securing long-term employment in the retail sector.
Participants will have the opportunity to work within TFG’s retail environment, gaining hands-on training, customer service experience, and exposure to the operations of a leading fashion and lifestyle retail group in South Africa.
This 12-month fixed-term opportunity (April 2026 – March 2027) is designed to empower youth with the skills and confidence needed to enter the workforce successfully.
YES Programme 2026 Requirements
To qualify for the TFG YES Programme 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 28
- Have Grade 12 / Matric (preferred)
- Be available to work a 12-month fixed-term contract
- Must not have been permanently employed by a single employer for more than one year
- Must not be studying full-time during the programme period (April 2026 – March 2027)
- Must not have previously participated in the YES Programme
