Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities

The Admin Learnership Programme is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within the corporate environment. The primary purpose of the role is to ensure effective office administration and client service support by handling financial documentation, communications, and operational tasks accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with company and client policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Managing and filing financial documents including invoices, receipts, and transaction records.
  • Delivering excellent customer service through prompt communication and message handling.
  • Operating and maintaining office equipment such as fax machines, photocopiers, and shredders.
  • Coordinating office maintenance, repairs, and inventory of office supplies.
  • Performing clerical and secretarial duties, including data entry, typing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Processing timesheets, handling petty cash, and assisting with banking reconciliations.
  • Organizing travel arrangements and bookings for on-site personnel.
  • Following Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Participating in safety meetings, reporting hazards or incidents, and supporting emergency responses.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education:

  • A Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (Matric) is essential.
  • A valid South African Code 08

Experience:
