Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications.
As a Boilermaker at Screenex Manufacturing, you will work in a fast-paced, high-quality production environment, ensuring all work meets strict safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
As a Boilermaker, your duties will include:
- Fabrication and Welding
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Mark, cut, shape, and weld steel to precise specifications.
- Use tools such as grinders, cutting torches, and welding machines.
- Assembly and Installation
- Assemble fabricated parts and ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Install completed components as per project requirements.
- Repair and Maintenance
- Repair damaged metal parts and equipment.
- Perform maintenance on workshop machinery and tools.
- Quality Control
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets company and client standards.
- Adhere to manufacturing tolerances and specifications.
- Safety Compliance
- Follow all company safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any hazards, incidents, or defective equipment to supervisors.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
- Trade Test Certificate as a Boilermaker (Red Seal preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in fabrication and welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
- Experience with workshop machinery (cutting, bending, and grinding tools).
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work.

Working Conditions

- Safety: PPE provided; strict adherence to safety procedures required.
