FNB Learnership Requirements 2026

To qualify for the programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be aged between 18 and 34 years
Be a South African citizen
Hold a Matric certificate (NQF Level 4); higher qualifications (NQF 5–6) are an advantage
Be unemployed for at least 6 months
Not currently studying
Have less than 12 months of work experience (including casual or part-time work)
This must be your first formal job experience
Must not have participated in the FirstJob programme or worked for FirstRand before
Have good English communication skills
Have no criminal record or credit blacklisting
Be willing to complete a learnership programme
