If you are between 18 and 35 years old, currently unemployed, and passionate about developing technical and practical skills, this learnership is your chance to join one of the world’s leading mining companies.
Training Locations: Kolomela and Sishen Mines, Northern Cape
About the Anglo American Learnership Programme
The Kumba Iron Ore Engineering Learnership Programme runs for 36 to 39 months. It combines classroom instruction, hands-on technical training, and real workplace experience.
Learners will gain:
- Practical, job-ready engineering skills
- Exposure to modern mining operations
- A nationally recognized qualification upon completion
This structured programme is designed to prepare participants for skilled roles in the mining and engineering sector, opening doors to long-term career growth within Anglo American or the wider industry.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Anglo American Learnership 2025, applicants must:

- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Be unemployed at the time of application
- Provide proof of residential address
- Pass a Fitness Assessment and Risk Fitness Assessment (RFA)
