About the Professional Cookery Learnership 2025
This fully funded learnership programme in professional cookery provides both theoretical training and hands-on practical experience, preparing candidates for employment in restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and more.
Duration: 12 months (Full-time commitment required)

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the 2025 Professional Cookery Learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Hold a Matric/Grade 12 certificate
- Be fluent in English (a qualification in Tourism or Hospitality is advantageous)
- Must currently not working
- Submit a CV and a motivational letter
- Provide a certified copy of your South African ID
- Provide certified copies of relevant qualifications
- Provide proof of residence
- Be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
