The Necsa Learning Academy (NLA) invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Engineering Apprenticeship Programme 2025.
Apprenticeship Location: South Africa
Apprenticeship Closing Date: 17 April 2025
This opportunity is open to unemployed individuals aged 18–35 who are passionate about a career in engineering. Successful applicants will receive accredited technical training, a monthly stipend, and accommodation during their training.
Applications close on 17 April 2025, and only online submissions will be accepted.
Available Apprenticeship Trades
Necsa is offering training in the following Occupational Certificate trades:
- Boilermaker
- Welder
- Toolmaker
- Electrician
- Instrumentation
- Millwright
- Fitter & Turner
- Mechanical Fitter
- Metal Machinist
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must reside in one of the following provinces:
- Eastern Cape
- Free State
- KwaZulu-Natal
- Limpopo
- Mpumalanga
- Northern Cape
- North West
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have one of the following:
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) with Mathematics and Science
- N2–N6 with 4 relevant subjects (including trade theory)
- Technical Matric with Maths, Science, and trade theory
- NCV Level 3 or 4 Engineering Certificate with 7 relevant subjects
Additional Requirements
- Technical knowledge and ability to work in a team
- Must be medically fit, pass security clearance, and undergo qualification verification and assessments
- Only South African citizens will be considered
