Cleaning of laboratory glassware and specific laboratory areas. Responsible for sample retention and waste management. Physical preparation of samples for analyses. Scanning of routine samples on NIR. Responsible for minor analytical procedures such as moisture determination.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING
- Matric
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
- No experience needed – training will be supplied
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Timeous and quality sample preparation (splitting, milling and drying)
- Scanning of samples on all NIR instruments
- Instrumentation care & cleaning of designated areas
- Maintenance of sample retention store and cold room
- General waste management
- Washing of glassware and plastic timeously
- Adhere and contribute to all quality and safety systems in the laboratory
