Job Description

The purpose of this position is to perform daily administration of the branch, including POD and COD duties.

Requirements

  • Matric with Accounting & Mathematics
  • Good with numbers & calculations
  • Advanced admin skills
  • A quick learner who will be willing to speak up if there is a problem
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
  • Organised, accurate and professional
  • Must be willing to work in a team as well on your own
  • An honest and trustworthy individual willing & able to work with large amounts of cash each day
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Clear ITC & Criminal record

 Key Performance Indicators includes, but not limited to.

  • Perform general administrative functions at the relevant branch
  • Scan PODs
  • File PODs
  • Close PODs on ELCB
  • Pull undelivered POD REPORT
  • Follow up on outstanding POD
  • file and scan Freight POD (5 Star, Harry’s, Speedees, Kinno’s, RTT)
  • POD queries with creditors and customers
  • Drivers leave planning
  • Dispatch & drivers
  • Verifying invoices against petrol slips
  • Ensure all the petrol slip are handed over
  • Follow up on oustanding petrol or diesel slips
  • DBN PIA vehicle and MHE monthly reports
  • Fleet report (Fuel quantity/ fuel cost/ traffic fines)
  • Handling payment via cash and speed point machine
  • Cash up with Creditors
  • Cash up with CIT (Fedility)
  • Dayend outstanding  COD report/ follow up on outstanding COD
  • Ensure all incident and hollard form is filled and sent to Head office
  • Follow up on Incident Status
  • Log a call to KSJ for vehicle repairs
  • Keeping monthly expenses spreadsheet  updated
  • Ensure all vehicle  maintanance are within monthly budget
  • follow up on KSJ quotations and orders
  • Hi Q umngeni quotations and orders
  • Attend to customer queries and drivers queries
