REQUIREMENTS:
✓ Matric + Well spoken
✓ Preferably 2 Official Languages
✓ License 2 years and older
✓ 5 Years Driver Experience
✓ Volvo and Scania is Advantageous
✓ No Criminal Record
✓ Physically strong and healthy
✓ Clear criminal record
✓ Neat and well groomed (PPE must be clean and worn at all times)
✓ Age 27 to 40 years old
✓ Valid driver’s licence (Code 14) and Prdp
AdhocFunctions
✓ Directing drivers while reversing ensuring it is safe to do so
✓ Communicating with zone controllers via cell phone
✓ Ensuring cleanliness of vehicle both internally and externally
✓ Ensuring all tools and equipment used are kept clean and stored as required.
✓ Reporting any losses, damages and discrepancies’ with regard to cargo, equipment and
paperwork
✓ Greeting and interacting with clients in a polite and pleasant manner
Additional requirements
✓ Willingness to work overtime
Own transport advantageous as transport will only be provided when legislatively
required and in some instances be charged to employee
✓ Computer skill advantageous
✓ Own cell phone in working condition
✓ Approx. 5 years previous freight experience advantageous
✓ Willingness to take a pre-employment polygraph test
✓ Must have at least 2 contactable references
